Jennifer S. Frank

Jennifer Suich Frank focuses her practice on all facets of employment law, including representation of employees and employers in discrimination, harassment, disability, ADA, FMLA, and wage and hour claims. In addition, she advises employers on compliance, handbooks and policies, privacy, non-competes, hiring, discipline and termination, and she conducts external workplace investigations for employers. Jennifer is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in South Dakota and Minnesota.
Jennifer is a native of New England and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in 1988. She went on to work in a variety of human resources and benefits positions in Pennsylvania and Washington D.C., prior to attending law school at William Mitchell College of Law, were she graduated, magna cum laude, in 1997. Prior to joining Lynn Jackson in 2015, Jennifer worked as a senior associate general counsel for a large healthcare system, and was a partner in a large law firm in Minnesota.
Jennifer attended a week-long training for workplace investigations and earned her AWI certificate (AWI-CH). She regularly provides training and presentations on discrimination, harassment, hiring/firing/discipline, disability/ADA and FMLA topics. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and its local chapter, BH SHRM, and is Past President of the Board of Directors for BH SHRM. She is also a member of the South Dakota, Pennington County, and Minnesota Bar Associations. Jennifer currently serves as the Chair of the South Dakota State Bar’s Labor and Employment Law committee.
Jennifer enjoys cooking, reading, hiking and spending time with her husband and two teenage children.
