Kraig L. Kronaizl

Kraig L. Kronaizl focuses his practice on banking and financial transactions, including real estate transactions and loan reviews, business/corporate work, estate planning, probate and trust administration. Kraig is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in South Dakota.
Kraig was raised in rural South Dakota and is a 2008 graduate of Augustana University. He earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
Kraig began his legal career with a small firm in Yankton before joining Lynn Jackson in 2015. His practice focuses on business and corporate law, finance, real estate, estate planning, and estate and trust administration. He represents a broad range of clients, including nonprofit organizations, insurance companies, financial institutions, construction companies, agricultural operations, manufacturers, and closely held and family-owned businesses.
Kraig advises clients through all stages of the business lifecycle—from formation and early growth to mergers, acquisitions, and succession planning. He is known for delivering practical, solutions-oriented counsel on a wide array of transactional and governance matters, including contract negotiation, corporate structuring, and ownership transitions.
Outside of his legal practice, Kraig is an avid sports fan and a devoted supporter of the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Timberwolves. He enjoys golfing, coaching his children’s sports teams, and spending quality time with his wife, Morgan, and their two children, Christian and Eliza.

- Represented families in assisting with transition of the family business from one generation to the next.
- Represented corporations in facilitating the transition of ownership following the death of one of the members/shareholders.
- Represented various electric cooperatives in obtaining eight-figure federal loans from the Rural Utilities Services.
- Represented several banks in reviewing, revising, and drafting loan documents for seven-figure loan transactions.
- Provided legal opinions for out-of-state counsel for loan transactions occurring in the State of South Dakota.
